Last year’s winner was Roger McMullan who left a wonderful review on his experience with Clip Studio Paint EX, stating the following:
All-in-One Software Without the Evil
Imagine if Adobe’s Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign had a baby. That’s Clip Studio Paint. Ideal for comic creation, it has robust drawing capabilities (beyond Procreate), includes vector creation, and has print formatting. Instead of jumping around programs, you can do it all in one program. PLUS it has 3D models and other helpful tools. I’ve been working on an 11″ iPad, but I imagine this is a lot better experience on a larger tablet with more memory.

Oh, I also love that CSP offers plans that DON’T REQUIRE A SUBSCRIPTION – something that Adobe has 100% done away with. It’s an amazing product for the price and ridiculously robust capabilities. Thank you!
The banner art is also by Roger. Connect with Roger on his website, on Instagram, or on Facebook.
