KidLitGN's 2026 Pitch Event Info
(Creators can load pitches starting at 8 am. EDT on the Saturday before the pitch event opens until 11:59 p.m. EDT on the first day of the pitch event. See below for exact dates.)
Quick FAQs
Pitches will stay up the entire month of October. Once the event closes, we will password protect the pages. Agents/editors who request the password can view and request the pitches for the rest of the year. However, you can request to have your pitch removed at any time during the event. Please email kidlitgn at gmail dot com to ask us to remove your pitch(es). All pitches will be deleted a few days before next year's pitch event.
You'll be able to see your pitch once you load it and can make changes to the text, but will need to delete and reload if you need to make changes to the art. Please contact us at our email address, kidlitgn at gmail dot com, to delete any duplicate pitches.
KidLitGN is the premier annual pitch event for writers and illustrators of kids through young adult graphic novels, designed to get their manuscripts in front of agents and editors. The pitch event starts on the first Wednesday of October each year and is open for editors, agents, and publishers to review and request throughout the month of October.
How To PitchThe 2026 pitch event opens for agent and editor viewing at 8 a.m. on Oct. 7 and will remain open until October 31 at 11:59 p.m EDT. However, pitches can be loaded as soon as 8 a.m. EDT on Oct. 3 and will remain open for loading until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Oct 7. Any pitches added after that deadline will be deleted. You also have the option to leave your pitch up until next year so agents and editors can visit year-round. The pages will be password protected once the pitch event closes on Oct. 31.
